Cheese Ball #1- Cheddar, Bacon & Scallions
| 6-8 | slices | Crisp Bacon |
| 1 | bunch | Scallins, sliced |
| 1 | lb | Grated Cheddar |
| ½ | cup | Chopped Walnuts |
| ½ | cup | Mayonnaise (or more) |
Crumble bacon in a bowl, add the other ingredients and mix
together with
mayonnaise. Chill to blend the flavors and serve.
I make the mix into a ball, rolling it in more nuts and chopped
parsley. The
original recipe was just to be served in a bowl (not as pretty). It
is so
simple. Your arteries may allow you to eat this about twice a year!
